Are you required to administer medications in your job role? Are you looking to advance your skills and work as an AIN or aged care worker? The training you receive on this course will give you the skills to administer and monitor medications. The skill set is comprised of the units: HLTHPS006 Assist clients with medication and HLTHPS007 Administer and monitor medications, if you choose face to face training or there is an option for distance self paced training comprising of one unit, HLTHPS007 Administer and monitor medications. The two units of competency can be undertaken individually, or as part of CHC43015 Certificate IV in Aging Support.
This course will teach you the skills required to administer and monitor prescribed medications to a person with stable health conditions. This may be in a range of settings under delegation from a health profession in accordance with legislation and the organisations medication and delegation policies and practice.
You will need access to a computer with internet connection to complete your qualification.
This course requires you to have a good understanding of written, verbal and spoken English and maths (knows as language, literacy and numeracy 'LLN'). All students who enrol in a course are required to undertake Adept Training's LLN assessment.

- Proof of Residency (Birth Certificate, Passport, Green Medicare Card or Citizenship Certificate)
- Language, literacy and numeracy assessment
- Emergency contact
