Our Course (HLTHPS007 Administer and monitor medications) is an online self-paced program. The course will provide you with training to safely and effectively administer prescribed medications and document correctly and confidently monitor the client.
What will you learn?
You will learn to perform medication administration, subcutaneous medication, oral, topical and PR medications, use of a nebuliser, eye and ear drops. When you enrol, this course can be completed at your own pace, with the support of our trainer. Demonstration of medications being administered to people is a mandatory part of the course and forms part of the assessment for this unit. Students must demonstrate the required skills either in the workplace or can attend a one-day face-to-face workshop where the assessment will be conducted.
