Credit transfer
Already completed a unit of competency with another training provider? You may be able to get credit for it, so you don't have to repeat it.
What is credit transfer?
Credit transfer is how you gain credit for a unit of competency based on parts of another qualification or other formal training you have already completed.
Adept Training recognises AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by other registered training organisations. This is known as mutual recognition. We can't train and assess you in a unit you have already completed.
Your USI transcript: as part of enrolment we ask you to give us access to your USI transcript so we can check which units you may be eligible for.
How to apply
- 1Complete the application formList the qualification you are enrolling in and the units you are seeking credit for.
- 2Attach your certificatesInclude certified copies of your certificates or statements of attainment, or bring the originals for us to sight.
- 3Add proof of identityInclude a certified copy of your birth certificate, passport or driver's licence.
- 4Send it with your enrolmentEmail your form and evidence to operations@adepttraining.com.au when you enrol.
Things to know
- Documents you send won't be returned, so send certified copies rather than originals.
- We may check the documents and statements you provide with the issuing organisation.
- Each unit is marked as granted, denied or more evidence required.
