Unique Student Identifier (USI)
Your individual education number for life. Here's what a USI is, why you need one before you can receive your qualification, and how to create yours.
What is a USI?
A Unique Student Identifier (USI) is your individual education number for life. It also gives you an online record of the vocational education and training (VET) you complete in Australia.
You need a USI if you're studying at university, TAFE or with any other provider of nationally recognised training, including Adept Training.
Without a USI you can't receive your qualification or statement of attainment, or Commonwealth financial assistance.
